Feeling lonely do we,
Frantically look for a company
Be it human, pet or a book..
Even worries, dreams as companions
For just one whole day, let us sink into the truth of alone-ness..
It's just you & you alone
No friend, no foe, no greed, no fear
No races, no degrees, no birth, no death !
Who is it who's born, lives & dies?
The seeker of companionship?
Or a lover or an illusionary object?
Which we claim as 'Me' !
Indeed the virtual seeks virtual
Seeking company or support of any sort
With a notion of getting soaked,
We get wet with relationships
Alas, we fail to perceive
Whatever we touch, indulge in
Or make many of it our very own,
A vividness inside us still remains..
Totally untouched at any cost.
That IS what we need to touch base with
You may call it 'Consciousness', 'God', or 'Witness'
Truth yet remainsuntouched
That we all were, are and shall be alone..
Before & after our so-called start and end :-) ! ?

very superbly said.. we are in the constant search of company in all forms. What we need to seek company inside and explore that journey..
ReplyDeleteThought to ponder about: Loneliness is what we all can relate to. This is a feeling as long as we relate to ourselves as this puny identity, that we are actually NOT. But the ultimate state is that of "Aloneness", being establish in Kaivalya. That is our true nature. We are alone. Nobody, however much we may want to get fooled, will accompany us when we arrive.. and when we leave. Because we don't arrive or leave anywhere. We are just there... Pure Consciousness, our true nature.
